Animal Crossing: New Horizons Free DLC Coming Next Month

In Nintendo’s recent Animal Crossing: New Horizons direct, they made several huge announcements, including an upcoming free update for the game coming next month. The video presentation revealed a range of new additions to the game including the long-awaited Brewster and his cafe.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons update will include new features, improvements, and quality-of-life tweaks that the game really needs. Nintendo has confirmed that this was will be the final free update for the game.

Here’s what you can expect from Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update 2.0:

  • Brewster the pigeon and The Roost

  • Travel to other islands which might be in different seasons and timezones for 1000 Nook Miles with Kapp’n

  • Harv’s Island is getting a big upgrade

  • A new group stretching exercise available on the main plaza

  • Ability to farm vegetables and cook them in your kitchen to eat or display

  • Gyroids are back

  • Can now put permanent ladders on the island

  • New exterior customization styles

  • Storage cap increase from 2400 items to 5000

  • Island Ordinances can not be set

  • Pro Decoration License to add new elements to your house

  • A handy portable storage shed can be placed on the island for direct access to your home storage

  • An ADB kiosk can be placed for access to Bells

  • The camera app will allow you to first-person shots or get in the frame for group pictures

  • Another 12 KK songs and a new music box item to play them at home

  • 11 more hairstyles and 11 new reactions

  • New items for the Nook Miles app including a ferris wheel

  • New Island Life tips app with gameplay hints

Animal Crossing: New Horizon‘s final free update certainly lives up to the name. The version 2.0 update will be launching November 5 for free.
