Nintendo has just announced the release date for Banjo-Kazooie, the classic Nintendo 64 3D platform game, on the Nintendo Switch Online service. It was announced to be coming to the Switch last year, but a release date for the game was held back until the last moment.
Posting to Twitter, Nintendo of America has revealed that the original Banjo-Kazooie will be dropping tomorrow. All Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers will be able to play the classic platformer beginning January 20 as part of Nintendo’s effort to bring N64 games to Switch.
Nintendo has released a trailer for Banjo-Kazooie ahead of the release tomorrow. It gives gamers a chance to take a look at what they can expect from the N64 game on the new Nintendo console. This is most likely not the Xbox Live Arcade version of Banjo-Kazooie which was given some quality-of-life changes.
