Capcom Fighting Collection Coming To Switch

If Street Fighter is the first fighting game that comes to your mind when you think about Capcom, you’d be forgiven. Over the decades, multiple sequels, and dozens of releases, Capcom basically became synonymous with the Street Fighter franchise. But the company has also released many more iconic fighting games, and for the first time, those classic fighting games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the Capcom Fighting Collection.

Unfortunately, the announcement of the Capcom Fighting Collection has been almost entirely overshadowed by the Street Fighter 6 reveal (including the questionable logo choice). But this collection will give fans of the genre the opportunity to play a range of titles on the go, including Red Earth which was released back in 1996 for arcades and has never been brought to home consoles.

Here are all the classic Capcom games included in the Capcom Fighting Collection:

  • Darkstalkers

  • Night Warriors

  • Vampire Savior

  • Vampire Hunter 2

  • Vampire Savior 2

  • Red Earth / War-Zard

  • Cyberbots

  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo

  • Hyper Street Fighter II

  • Super Gem Fighter MiniMix

Online play is included for all the titles in the collection, and the collection includes training modes, achievements, and different screen filters. There’s also a Museum Mode to check out the art and music from the games.

The Capcom Fighting Collection will be available on June 24.
