Game-Breaking Metroid Dread Bug Fixed

Earlier this month, Nintendo apologized for the bug that appears towards the end of Metroid Dread, and with the latest update, the fix has been fixed.

Metroid Dread has been updated to version 1.0.1, fixing various bugs. The most notable is the promised game-breaking door glitch. The bug in question was caused by having a map marker placed on a specific door while the door is destroyed which would cause the game to force quit. It always caused a “The software was closed because an error occurred.”

This bug has now been fixed, and updating Metroid Dread to the latest version is the best way to keep playing the game uninterrupted. The update has also fixed several other issues to improve the overall gameplay experience.
