Grand Theft Auto Trilogy is Coming

There have been rumors about a possible Grand Theft Auto remastered trilogy, and now it’s finally been confirmed with a new rating listing.

A listing for this is available on the Korean official ratings website. While it doesn’t list any platforms, a report from Kotaku claims it’s coming to the Switch.

The Kotaku report claims that their reputable sources say Rockstar is actively developing some remasters. According to them, three games are being remastered using the Unreal Engine with a mix of old and new graphics to retain the classic style.

This reported Grand Theft Auto Trilogy will include:

  • Grand Theft Auto III

  • Grand Theft Auto Vice City

  • Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

According to the Kotaku sources, the remastered games are now planned for an October launch, which would mean we see them being announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2021. The games will release for Nintendo Switch in addition to all other current consoles, PC, Google Stadia, and mobile phones, too.
