If you watched the Indie World Showcase,then you would have seen that Axiom Verge 2 was suddenly released for Switch the same day. A nice surprise but sadly, no physical version was announced.
Until now.
Limited Run Games has announced on Twitter that they are producing some physical versions of Axiom Verge. They will be releasing both Axiom Verge games for Nintendo Switch in cartridge format. One physical copy will be for Axiom Verge 2 while the other will include the original game and the newly released sequel.
These physical copies are expected to follow the same Limited Run pattern which could make them very rare. Pre-orders for them will begin October 1, and more details are expected to follow as the release gets closer.
Limited Run Games has confirmed there will be physical versions for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
