It’s been four years since Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was released. When it was leaked ahead of the reveal, gamers hated the idea.

At E3 when it was officially announced by Ubisoft, the world fell in love. It was a rollercoaster of emotions for the development team and with a sequel in development, the team is rightfully celebrating.

The Mario Rabbids team shared a special piece of artwork on Twitter. Mario and his Rabbid friends celebrating the four-year mark in Rabbid style.

Mario and his Rabbid Mario counterpart both looking at the cake in disbelief… while Rabbid Peach quickly leaves the scene with the rest of the four year anniversary cake.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope was announced at E3 this year and we can expect to see it released sometime in 2022.  The upcoming game features Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy — though, technically, it’s a Rabbid Rosalina.
