If you slept on Monster Hunter Rise last year, now’s a great time to jump in. For a limited time, Monster Hunter Rise is free to play for all active Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
Capcom’s free trial gives subscribers full access to the entire game, so you could, theoretically, finish Monster Hunter Rise before March 17, the day that the trial window ends. If you decide to purchase Monster Hunter Rise after the trial, all your progress from the demo will be carried forward.
This free-to-play period comes just before Capcom’s big new expansion to Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak. Sunbreak is a brand-new DLC that promises a massive adventure for Monster Hunter fans.
