During the Nintendo Direct last month, Nintendo revealed that some Nintendo 64 games would be coming to the Switch thanks to the Nintendo Switch Online service. The footage from that Nintendo Direct suggested that European fans might only be getting games running at a slower 50Hz.
Nintendo has confirmed this will not be the case.
Posting to Twitter, Nintendo of Europe has announced that all N64 games included with Nintendo Switch Online will run in 60Hz. The games will also be available in English, but “select games will also have the option to play the original European PAL version with language options.”

This means all games will be running at 60Hz for a better experience while some of them are available in their original 50Hz PAL versions.
For Americans, the original launches for these games was in 60Hz so this should not be an issue. The Nintendo 64 games are expected to use 60Hz, just as the original console releases did.
