Nintendo has released a lot of new profile pictures, backgrounds, and borders this year for anyone with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Most of the new additions are related to new releases, but this batch is pretty retro.
It’s been announced that the September rewards include quite a lot based on classic NES games. The icon elements will be refreshed each week, so Switch Online members need to be fast to grab them.

Anyone with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription can earn points by completing different missions to earn rewards. The points earned from the tasks can be spent to obtain the new limited edition NES icons for their account. Getting them doesn’t mean much, but it does give users a nice profile picture and some bragging rights.
