Nintendo has released its maintenance schedule for this week on its official Japanese website. The announcement reveals that the company is planning to do a lot of maintenance this week for various services.
Here’s the full maintenance schedule for this week:
Nintendo Switch / 3DS and Wii U eShops
- 9:30 pm PT – 11:30 pm PT (August 29)
Nintendo Switch “Use of downloadable software”
- 9:30 pm PT – 10 pm PT (August 29)
Nintendo Switch Parental Controls via Nintendo Switch Online app for iOS and Android
- 9:30 pm PT – 11:30 pm PT (August 29)
Nintendo Switch “Distribution of Update Data”
- 9:30pm PT – 11:30pm PT (August 29)
Nintendo Switch “Purchasing and Using Passes”
- 9:30pm PT – 11:30pm PT (August 29)
Nintendo Switch “Purchase and Use of Consumable Items”
- 9:30 pm PT – 11:30 pm PT (August 29)
While all of these are dated August 29, the times will vary across regions. For the UK and Europe, most of these updates will be coming tomorrow August 30 instead. It doesn’t seem like there will be any major changes coming from this maintenance period. However, the update for the 3DS and Wii U eShops is interesting considering both stores are due to be taken offline permanently next year.
