It’s rare to see games specifically targeting young children and it’s even rarer to see games for them with real effort put into them. My Friend Peppa Pig was announced in May, and we’ve been given our first look at the gameplay.
Beloved by children, Peppa Pig is coming to the Nintendo Switch and lets players insert themselves into the story.
Players can create their own animal avatar then join Peppa and her family as they go on different adventures. The gameplay trailer shows different fan-favorite locations such as Potato City, Snowy Mountain and Peppa’s house. There will be activities to complete and players have the chance to create their own “one of a kind story exploring Peppa’s world.”
While it might be treated a bit like a joke at the moment, My Friend Peppa Pig is sure to help encourage another generation of gamers.
The game will release October 22 for Nintendo Switch, and it will also release for PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Google Stadia.
